Giving Back The Love: Happy Mother's day

I was really touched with the song of Ed Sheeran Supermaket Flower. People were speculating before why did he use the supermarket in his song because it makes his image too cheap buying a supermarkert flower for her mom. But, According to his interview, he really meant the it was simple but special like as he tell the story behind it. The song was inspired with his grand mom. However, when I first heard its lyrics I was really moved. I almost cry because I really love my mom more than anything else in this universe.

I was really emotional because just this year, I lost my dad. He died from a brain injury due to his high blood ailment.

Being a man, I am very much oriented that I should never show my weakness.

I remember when I was in grades school, I was bullied because of my flamboyant characteristics. My father stood and told me his greatest lesson. I should never let anyone hurt me. I should never show my weakness because I am the strength of my mom and I should never give up just like them.

Every line of the of the lyrics of Supermarket Flower is a touching narrative but What I like the most is the line;

Hallelujah,

You were an angel in the shape of my mum

You got to see the person I have become

Spread your wings and I know

That when God took you back, he said, "Hallelujah, you're home."

I still live with my mom and I really enjoy each and every moment that we share.

I am dreaming that in the future I can give her the best experience the world has to offer.

After his more than a decade of giving advice to broken-hearted listener, Papa Jack (John Gemperle) left 90.7 Love Radio Manila.
